Robbie and Murray Lathrop and daughter Mika are MTW missionaries have been living in Managua, Nicaragua since August 2005. They are originally from South Carolina. Robbie is a Clemson University, Civil Engineering graduate and Murray is a graduate of MUSC with a degree in Occupational Therapy. They are currently developing this ministry project along with the assistance and help of national workers. Before they moved to Managua,Nicaragua they spent a year in San Jose,Costa Rica learning the native language,spanish. Their daughter Mika currently goes to a private christian school called Nicaragua Christian Academy. She is going into the 8th grade starting this August. Their two sons Reed and Ross live in the States. Reed is going to Clemson University in SC. Their oldest soon Ross is married and is in the U.S. Navy as a Nuclear Engineer in Virginia. Back in Nicaragua a good weekend would be going and spending the night on their pineapple farm and riding horses. They have 6 horses including a baby colt.
